Excerpt from Travel Diary #2

Too lazy to reproduce my writings from my diary so i'll risk keeping the hardcopy and just put a few pictures up

( At the Meiji shrine, for some reason apparently the French gave the priests of this place alot of wine barrels once it was erected to celebrate Emperor Meiji's death... not quite sure why...)

( It was bloody delicious )

( If only i had taken this myself haha )

( A tree where priests came and blessed the offerings that people made, usually for loved ones, i was pleased to see that no messages to Gods where hung there, i thought of writing one for my dog, but then i realised that this was just a ploy for 500 yen and decided against it, plus he'd never realise that i did this for him haha )

( A fucking beauty, i was in ecstasy when i completed this, but i did learn quite a lot about patience and teamwork )

( The Bullet Train, i have no clue how fast it was actually, probably 200km/hr? I regret playing games too late the night before so that i was too tired to watch the view past me on the way there, HOWEVER i did force myself to stay awake on the way back, i saw wondrous things.

I saw brilliant lakes and sunlit countrysides, slowly turn into misty snow swept mountain sides, transform into grey domestic suburbia and finally back to the metallic tinges of technological Tokyo. While my camera was out of batteries, it wouldn't have helped to capture such fast images, but no doubt these beautiful moments it will remain vaguely fixated in my mind for as long as i live )

( A brilliant map that lights up where your current location and destination is, why don't we have more of these  =.= )

( Despite being the cultural hub of Japan, Kyoto still has many technological feats on par with Tokyo )

( I will admit that while technology keeps me interested, we should also distract ourselves and look back to nature. Yes this isn't exactly nature as you can see an old shrine there BUT one should always try to appreciate the creativity of those who have lived in the past and admire the natural beauty that is around us, just look at this fucking pond HOW CLEAR IS THE REFLECTION GOOD GOD >:D )

( Tested out my new camera and its panoramic view, this was before i dropped it and it got totalled fuck )

( Like any religious place, modern owners rip off visitors by saying oh look if you chuck some money into the pot you will have good luck, doesn't anybody notice the bloody net thats affixed below? )

( Heres another example of ripping off the irrational beliefs of people, not as extreme as others but still )

( An army of pigeons strong enough to march across the plains of Gondor )

(Closest one in the shop that looked like my doggy)

(No hope for humanity in this place)

( The sister school it looks alot better than the fucking fort for sure )

( Some nice artwork, pity we dont have an arts club back in Aus )

( I was once standing at its gates, good enough i guess )

(When Jap girls get drunk)

(Wish i was as chill all the time as this guy here)

(Fucking Awesome, BUT GEORGE LUCAS IS A SHITASS SCRIPT WRITER)

( I still have no clue how they fucking mad that egg )

(Rock on Dumbo)

(Left my childhood behind here)

(Right Fucking On mate)

( Fuck Yeah Jack Skellington )

(What the living room looked like on the night before we left)

(Chances of seeing the Japanese peeps again? close to 0% and that in itself is a very depressing thought)

( Temporary Infatuation with this girl when she started singing on stage, made me realise the beauty of simplistic music, she'll never know how greatly she touched my heart with her voice, too bad i guess )

(Speaks for itself)
